NEW YORK, NY–(Marketwired – Jul 18, 2013) – Tremor Video, Inc.
(
NYSE:
TRMR), a leading provider of
technology-driven video advertising solutions, today announced new
interactive creative features available to the Company’s Tremor
Video media network and VideoHub enterprise clients. The Company’s
VideoHub technology also becomes one of the first to fully comply
with the new Vast 3.0 IAB standard.

“Our commitment to creative innovation and standards leadership
are two important elements of our vision,” said Steven Lee, Chief
Technology Officer for the Company. “We remain steadfastly focused
on serving consumers and brands in the exciting video space across
all screens.”

The Company’s media network and enterprise clients can now add
new Pinterest and Google+ share features in addition to the
existing menu of interactive creative elements available for
advance video ad units. Advertisers can now enable viewers to share
content such as video, links, images, and pre-defined messages on

Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, MySpace, Delicious, Digg, Pinterest,
Google+ and Email.

Combining this functionality with VideoHub analytics,
advertisers can measure and understand social sharing behavior
among video viewers. In addition to tracking the initial share
activity, VideoHub also allows advertisers the ability to track how
many times a shared item was clicked on from the viewer’s post. The
Company works closely with agencies and brands to understand when
and what type of interactivity drives value for their marketing
goals and customer experience.

VideoHub is one of the first technologies to become VAST 3.0
compliant. This enhancement is designed to allows the Company’s
publishers to monetize their inventory more effectively. Publishers
using VAST 3.0 can now run ads with the following features:

  • Skippable Creatives
  • Ad Pods
  • Nonlinear Creatives
  • Required Companion Banners
  • Image files as Linear Ads
  • Icon support from multiple providers (i.e. AdChoices)
  • VAST 3.0 Wrappers

granted accreditation by the Media Rating Council (MRC) for five
metrics that help brand marketers, media agencies, and publishers
measure the accuracy and effectiveness of digital video
advertising: Average Viewability Percentage; Engagement; Clicks;
Served Digital Video Impressions; and Unique Cookies. VideoHub is
the first ad-technology to receive MRC accreditation specifically
for digital video viewability.
